CLASS DESCRIPTIONS CONSISTENCY = CHANGE & GROWTH
IYENGAR YOGA Develop a solid foundation in yoga postures, breathing and yogic philosophy. Postures are practiced slowly with in-depth precise instruction. You will improve your posture alignment, balance, strength, flexibility, increase joint mobility and relax and calm your mind. Props are used as a guide to educate, support alignment and heal injuries.
LEVEL 1 This class is recommended for students new to the Iyengar method and those wanting a slower paced class that teaches the principles of alignment, posture and breath. Emphasis on standing, seated and restorative postures which build strength, stamina and flexibility.
LEVEL 1-2 Foundational standing poses, seated poses, forward bends, twists, and simple backbends. Students are beginning to learn sarvangasana (shoulderstand) and halasana (plough pose).
YOGA CORE CONDITIONING WITH MUSIC For all levels, hand weights for upper body strengthening, movement to move energy and increase joint mobility, Yoga for flexibility, strength and relaxation.

The studio is fully equipped with mats, blocks, bolsters, belts, blankets, wall ropes, chairs and many other helpful props.
